Check-in was smooth with friendly staff ready to assist, making us feel instantly welcomed. The spacious one-bedroom apartment was impeccably clean, well-equipped for cooking, and included a refreshing pool area serviced daily. the noise from nearby bars disrupted peace during our stay, and the air conditioning struggled to keep the place cool, making nights uncomfortable. With the excellent location within walking distance to the beach, the positives almost outweighed the downsides, but they were notable enough to mention.

my stay at Dunas was nearly perfect, except for the fact that the noise from the bar was intolerable, truly a delightful ambiance! just like the bins being emptied at dawn. oh, and not even a complimentary upgrade for enduring that? how considerate, i almost thought of posting a nice review but just couldn’t.

Had a lovely stay with a very clean room and loads of hot water! The outdoor pool was refreshing, and I loved relaxing in the sun loungers by the pool area. Just a heads up, bring your own towels for the sun beds, as they’re not included! ☀️

the central location made it easy to stroll around and admire nearby parks, and I loved being just a short walk from the beautiful Alvor beach and the vibrant local cafes that served amazing coffee and food.

The apartments are clean and well-appointed for self-catering, allowing you to whip up meals before heading out to explore the nearby area.

Noise can be a real issue, especially from the nearby bars and streets, which might be a dealbreaker if you're a light sleeper—there were moments when trying to settle in felt more like a juggling act. The shower facilities are starting to show their age. an upgrade would really bring them up to par. the furniture gives a basic vibe and could use a bit of updating for added comfort. There were also some hiccups regarding parking. navigating the narrow structure was a bit of a challenge, especially if you're driving something larger. Lastly, if you're looking for a prime place to enjoy some quiet time by the pool, you might find it less than relaxing during peak hours given the activities that can get a little loud.

my stay exceeded expectations, with the apartment spotless and the pool area being delightful. every evening walk was a treat, taking me to nearby restaurants and the beach. i was particularly impressed by the helpfulness of staff like ariana, who made everything smooth.

we had a fab time in our bright 2 bedroom apartment. it was super clean and had all the kitchen stuff we needed. the pool area was huge and kept really nice, def the best in alvor! the location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and all the fun bars n restaurants. the staff were really helpful and made us feel welcome.

the beds were a bit too firm for my liking. also, we could hear some noise from nearby bars late at night which was kinda annoying.

We love the spacious two-bedroom apartment which was perfect for our group. The location is excellent, just a 10-minute walk to the beach and close to local cafes with delicious coffee and food. The pool area is fantastic and well-maintained, providing a relaxing atmosphere for our larger group to enjoy together.

Spacious apartment, excellent location, the apartment was clean and came equipped with all essential kitchen utensils, making it easy for us to prepare breakfast before heading out to explore the nearby beach just 5 km away.
